NATA is National Aptitude Test in Architecture. The eligibility for NATA is that the candidate must have either passed/appearing in 10+2. The candidate must have scored minimum 50% marks in aggregate in physic, chemistry and mathematics. Further, the candidate needs to score minimum 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam. The candidate must be minimum 17 years of age as on July 31, 2019.It must be clarified here that meeting the eligibility criteria is only the first stage of the admission process, as the candidate has to next qualify in NATA 2019 entrance exam. Admission to B.Arch course will then be based on NATA scores. Admission authorities will release application form of NATA 2018 in online mode tentatively in 3 rd week of January. The first stage of filling NATA 2019 is registration, during which one has to enter details like name, valid email id and mobile number. Post successful registration, fill relevant sections of the form, upload documents, and pay the application fee. Only correct details should be entered for filling the NATA application form 2019, as each detail will be thoroughly verified; if discrepancies are found, the candidate may be barred from admission. Candidates will have to appear in one paper consisting of two parts: Part A and Part B.  The question type and mode is different for each part. Part A : This part will include multiple choice questions only which have ton be answered online. Part A will have 60 questions from Mathematics and General Aptitude sections. Part B : Subjective questions will be asked in this part which have to be answered on A4 Size drawing sheets (offline). This part will have two questions only (Drawing-based).

B.Tech/B.Arch Admissions OPEN

Apply to Amrita University B.Tech 2026

While COA is the exam conducting authority, it will not conduct any common counselling for candidates who qualify in the exam. Instead, participating institutes and others that use NATA scores for admission will have their own unique counselling processes. So, after declaration of NATA results, the candidates need to fill counselling forms of their favorite institutes where they plan to get admission. All recognized institutes in the country use NATA scores for admission to B.Arch. course.
