But the cut off varies every year so maybe you'll get the admission because cut off depends upon various numbers of factors such as the difficulty level of exams, no of candidates, etc. But the cut off for the reserved category is comparatively low than the cut off of unreserved category.

Also there are many candidates who have the same scores in SRMJEE examination, so the actual number of candidates who have scored higher than you is actually much more than your rank. So this could be the main reason behind you not finding your desired seat. Also you should not be dis heated as there are still two more phases of the examination schedule to happen in future.
