State elligibility refer to the students being able to represent the state in which they are born or the certificate you need to hold in accordance of your presennt state where you have your permission of residential proof or address proof. Hope you understand and good luck!

It is the certificate which tells the authorities that you are eligible for taking admission.

For JEE mains counselling state of eligibility certificate is class 10th and class 12th provisional mark sheets which tells that you have already passed class 12th with physics, Chemistry (or any other listed subjects), Maths and English as a subject and tells about yours last attended Institute.

Requirement of Class 10 certificate for validation of your date of birth.

For jee mains paper 1 csab counselling 

You must have obtained qualifying marks in their respective class XII boards in each of the following subjects - Physics, Mathematics, any one of these subjects (Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology or Technical Vocational Subject), any one language and any one other subject.
