Ya the correct answer will be suspend as it was previous year based so nta gave this question directly from WB 2009 edition and also suspend as they can enter the cell cycle whenever called upon

The anser is exit.
It is because a cell that has entered G0 phase will undergo cell division in some necessary cases such as to replace a dead cell or to repair any wounds.
If we were to say the cell suspends cell cycle, then the cell will never divide again.So we cannot say that a cell in G0 phase suspend cell cycle.
