What is the average package for b.tech mechanical student ?

HI VISHAL,

For a B.tech Mechanical student the average package is 3-4 lpa only.It may seem less to you brother but we have to understand the reason behind this low payscale for a fresher.The reason behind the same is that MECHANICAL,METALLURGY,CIVIL are all core branches and so the companies generally require experienced students thus it is suggested for core branch student to give GATE exam and do M.TECH course from a prestigious college then it will help then in increasing their payscale to a very high extent.

No one is there with 7-8 lack package in mechanical  ?  If there , aproxly how many such students are there ??
