Never determine yourself with average salary holder student. Always run for the skills. If you acquire skills than no one can stop you to get highest Package.

However VIT average package stands out between 6.5 LPA . Always dream high and don't settle yourself with the average dream.

Very few core mechanical companies come in VIT , Vellore and most of the mechanical students get placed in consultancy and IT companies but the packages are decent nevertheless. The highest CTC for 2020 batch was INR 41.6 LPA. The lowest CTC was INR 3 LPA. The average package was around 6.72 LPA . TVS, Maruti Suzuki, Escorts are some of the major core companies that visit VIT Vellore for placements.

The salary trend in VIT has improved over the years with a maximum average salary being 6.05 LPA . The highest salary offered in Placement 2020 is 41.6 LPA which was 39 LPA.

For placements college only invites the companies if you have skills than you can definitely get a good job.
