After completing BE in Mechanical Engineering, you can opt for Masters in the same for a deeper understanding of all of the concepts taught in Bachelors. It also improves your chances of finding a job with a better salary package. Since the field of computer science is fast evolving, it is always good to go for this field, as finding employment would be much easier. Hi there,

Firstly, it entirely depends on your interest for a subject. Being a Mechanical Engineer and if you have a keen interest in the same, you can go for core jobs.

You'll have to qualify GATE or the individual exams organised by the authorities to get into a core job at PSU's. Qualifying GATE with a good score of pursuing higher studies in IIT's or NIT's.

If however you are planning to pursue management studies you should know that firstly you need to pursue MBA from a  reputed B school. It will open the doors for a high paying job and also enhance your professional network. There are also other pros like your leadership, communication, analytical skills etc, will be honed further.

Both have their pros and cons, in the end it all comes down to what your prefer more.

I hope this helps!

Thank you!

It cannot be said universally but it depends.

Speaking in terms of employment: Whether you want a Core job.

Considering you want a Core Job; following can be considered as good option:
1.You can look for job in companies like Tata Motors, Mahindra, Hero, Siemens, Bosch, etc.
2.Jobs in PSU’s like ONGC, NTPC, Coal India, Power Gris, etc.

After completing your BTech, you must be wondering what to choose MTech or MBA. To be honest with you, that it is a big decision. You have to choose whether you want to continue engineering or is MBA a good option for you to explore the management field.
