Candidates must have studied History of Art/ Ancient History, Culture & Archaeology/ Ancient Indian History/ Archaeology and Ancient History/ Ancient Indian History & Culture/Ancient Indian History & Archaeology/Drawing and Painting/Painting as an hons. subject at the B.A. or as a compulsory subject in all the three years at undergraduate level.

Or candidates must have studied BVA or BFA(Visual Arts).
