To take an admission in CSE branch is bit competitive even in private institutes but it is not so difficult.  first apply for engineering entrance, get a good score and rank and look for colleges where you satisfy the CSE branch cutoff and apply for them.

if you are looking for top colleges like NITs,IIITs then you have to appear jee mains. for government and private college they even accept state engineering entrance exam.
