Before answering this question, do have a look at these cut off marks (under State Quota) for Odisha-
NEET 2016 - 493
NEET 2017 - 527
NEET 2018 - 502
Why there was a rise in cut off in NEET 2017 as compared to NEET 2016?
Easy question paper and increase in number of candidates
Why there was a fall in cut off in NEET 2018 as compared to NEET 2017?
Comparatively difficult question paper and increase in number of medical colleges
Now you can draw a conclusion that NEET cut off depends on 3 parameters-
1. Number of candidates registered (increase with each year)
2. Number of medical colleges (may/may not increase with each year)
3. Difficulty of question paper (varies with each year)
In my opinion, this year's cut off will be 10-15 marks higher than the previous year's cut off because of a steep rise in number of candidates registered for NEET. However a more accurate cut off can be predicted after the NEET 2019 Exam gets over by seeing and comparing the difficulty of question paper with the previous year's question paper.
Thank You
Best Of Luck
NOTHING CAN BE SAID AT THIS TIME. IT CAN BE PTREDICT AFTER EXAM ONLY. BECAUSE CUT OFF VARY YEAR TO YEAR ON THE BASIS OF DIFFICULTY OF PAPER AND NO. OF CANDIDATE..
BUT IT CAN BE SAID AT THIS MOMENT THAT CUT OFF WILL BE SAME AS IN 2018.
FORE MORE ACCURATE PREDICTION WAIT TILL 5 MAY.
