Karnataka have an open system of criterias set for home state reservation. Domicile Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka NEET admission as home state in NEET 2020 is

1. Candidate should have studied for a minimum of seven years in a Government recognized institute located in the state of Karnataka, or

2. Candidate should have passed Class 11th and 12th (or) 1st yr and 2nd yr PUC from a Government Institute located in Karnataka State and either of the candidate’s parents should have studied from Karnataka for a minimum of seven years, (or)

3. Candidate who has passed the qualifying examination from an institute located outside Karnataka can be eligible for Karnataka NEET 2019 admission if either of his/her parent’s is a domicile of Karnataka state. In this case, the mother tongue of the candidate or either of the parent’s mother tongue should be Kannada, Tulu or Kodava and the candidate has to give a Kannada language test.
