The institute was established in 2017 and the classes are running in MANIT and no batch has passed out till now. The first batch will pass out in 2021. As IIIT-BHOPAL runs in NIT BHOPAL campus, there are great chances that companies that come to NIT BHOPAL will also recruit from IIIT Bhopal.

Faculty of the college is really good because MANIT Bhopal is the mentor institute. The number of faculty might be less but they have great experience. Faculties from MANIT Bhopal are also teaching in IIIT Bhopal.
