Hi aspirant,

  1. The cut-off for BSc Nursing admissions varies greatly depending on the institute, the entrance exam (if any), and the candidate's category.
  2. The cut-off for AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 was revealed in the form of overall rankings, with the General category ending at 6391.
  3. For NEET admissions in 2025, the predicted cut-off for the general category is around 550-580 marks, while it is lower for reserved categories.
  4. Different state-level entrance tests and individual colleges have their own cut-off standards. These cut-offs are influenced by factors such as exam difficulty, applicant numbers, available seats, and reservation policies.

Hello Aspirant,

Cutoff percentages for BSc Nursing change from year to year based on the number of applicants, degree of difficulty of the entrance exam, as well as the type of category (General, OBC, SC/ST). On average, government colleges could have varying cutoff percentages, but generally between 60-75% or above in PCB subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) students from the General category. For reserved categories and institutions (OBC and SC/ST) it may be little difference between 50-60% or above.
For entrance exams conducted by universities or NEET, the qualifying percentage may vary with qualifying percentage for general category being around 45-50% and for SC/ST/OBC category somewhere around 40%. However, generally every college or university will only indicate what qualifying score is on their merit list, you can look it up on the institution's official website.
