Dear Shreya

  • In NEET and JIPMERthe cutoff for general category is 50th percentile. It means you will be required to score marks such that your score falls in top 50% of the candidates who appear for the NEET 2018 and JIPMER MBBS 2018 exam respectively. In 2017, the equivalent cutoff marks for general category in NEET was 131 marks out of 720.
  • in AIIMSis 50%. Note that in AIIMS, the cutoff has been stipulated in not in the form of percentile, but in percentage. It means that in AIIMS MBBS 2018 entrance, you will be required to score at least 50% marks in order to qualify the exam. Since AIIMS MBBS is a 200 mark exam, it would entail that you will have to score at least 100 marks in the exam to qualify for further admission process.

I hope it answers you. Good Luck!
