Dear aspirant,
Prediction of exact rank would be hard but based on previous year cut-offs, a rank below 7000 should guarantee you a seat but the ranks have gone to 27.5 k as well. The cut-off depends on number of students who have applied and what their preferences are. Initially first 20,000 rank holders will be called for counselling. So, for a sure shot seat in VIT Vellore in the first round, a rank below 7k would help.
