VIT uses equating methodology for calculating candidate's marks. The candidates with score 118 or above will likely fall between 1-250 rank range. Candidates having less than 31 marks expected to have a rank of 20,000 or below.

For general category, the cutoff rank is 18,500 and the total fees to be paid for 1st year A category seat is INR 1,76,000.
