Greetings aspirant!

The major difference betweenboth these field isthat IT ( CS technology) deals with the application of computing technologyto real life processes, while, Computer science ( engeneering)deals with the sciencethat facilitates these applications. On the other hand, IT isjust the selection ofthe proper software or hardware forthe task. Computer Science Branch giveemphasis to the development of software by using different programming tools, & It also gives importance to hardware aspect,Where as information Technologyfocuses on which software tool must be selected to complete a particular task & IT is mostly the application part of CS,Where asCS give emphasis on the Algorithmic part of computer sciences with the knowledge of hardware.

Hope it helps!
