Dear student,

The general girl candidate means the girls that belong to general category while the ews girl candidates mean the girls that belong to ews category. In iit's/nit's a few percentage of seats are reserved for the girl candidates of all the categories. The cut off for ews girl candidates is lower than general girl candidates.
