With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that their is no difference in course circullum of the syllabus , it just way of teaching is somewhat different in both the branche electrical and IT . Electrical branch faculty  teaching style is through IOT applied on electrical applications like cars semiconductors whereas in IT it is purely on IT devices
