Hi

The seats of all the Government Medical and Dental Colleges in India through NEET are divided into two quotas namely -

All India Quota(15%) and State Quota(85%).

This means 15% of the total seats available in the Government Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges are under the All India Quota which is also known as the Central Pool. The counseling for such seats are conducted by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). The counseling for remaining 85% seats are conducted by the respective State authorities.

Also, for the 15% All India Quota seats, all the candidates who appeared in NEET UG 2019 and qualified the exam are eligible to participate in the counseling process whereas for 85% State Quota seats, the candidates are also required to fulfill the domicile criteria as laid down by the authority responsible for the NEET counselling of a particular state.

Best of Luck.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!
