On the other hand, simple orbital bonds form through the direct overlap of atomic orbitals like s-s, s-p, or p-p, without involving any mixing, and mainly explain the formation of sigma and pi bonds, rather than molecular shape. In terms of biology, metabolism refers to all the biochemical reactions taking place in the body to maintain life, including processes like breaking down food for energy and building new molecules.

The basic difference between hybridization and simply formed orbitals (molecular orbital theory) is that hybridization is an intra-molecular (within an atom) concept and MOT is an inter-molecular (between different atoms) concept.
Hybridization is the mixing of orbitals of a single atom to form a new hybrid orbital for bonding. It is primarily used to explain molecular geometry and bond angles. Example- Formation of sp3 orbitals in carbon to explain tetrahedral geometry of methane.
Molecular orbital theory is a slightly advanced concept of chemical bonding. It explains bond order, bond strength and magnetic properties while giving a more detailed electronic structure. It describes the combination of atomic orbitals from different atoms to form molecular orbitals that spread across the entire molecule like the formation of sigma and pi orbitals in a hydrogen molecule.

Metabolism is the sum total of all the chemical reactions occurring inside a living body to maintain life. It is of two types the destructive type (catabolism) and the constructive type (anabolism). Catabolism breaks down complex molecules into simpler ones to release energy. Anabolism uses that energy to form complex molecules that help in growth, repair and overall maintenance of the body. Metabolism is important for converting food into energy and in synthesizing new organic matter.
Metabolic is the adjective of metabolism. Anything related to metabolism is described as metabolic. Examples- Metabolic pathway, Metabolic activities, Metabolic rate, Metabolic waste, etc.

To secure a good rank in NEET-UG, you should not shift your focus from NCERT. Solve as many NEET-based questions as possible. Revise frequently and effectively. Take tests at regular intervals. Solve previous year papers to get a hold of the exam pattern. Study for atleast 8-10hours a day productively. Use methods like pomodoro, active recall and Feynman's technique to get the best possible results of your study time. Avoid social media. Take regular breaks, don't exhaust yourself. Take care of your health, exercise daily. Practice meditation to increase your focus span. Try not to procrastinate.
Attend lectures attentively. Make notes and revise them alongwith reading NCERT. Solve atleast 150-200questions per chapter. You need extreme discipline and consistency to secure a very good rank in NEET-UG. It is an exam of speed and accuracy, so practice questions with timer. Set aside a timer for 10minutes and try to solve 10questions of physics and chemistry and increase the number of questions to 15-20 for biology. Take help of several books available in the market and online lectures provided on youtube and other platforms. Stay true to yourself, work hard and smart and you can easily get a good rank in NEET. To avoid social media and phone addiction, the first thing you need to know is that addiction doesn't go away instantly, start slow. If you're using social media for 2hours daily cut it down to 1hour daily and then to 30minutes and then 15minutes. Gradually reduce your usage time. Turn of your notifications. Don't use your phone right after waking up and before going to sleep. Put your phone in a different room while studying and eating. Use focus apps like Forest, Streaks to stay productive. Set time limits for all the distracting apps. Use social media as a reward to your brain, complete your daily tasks, then use your phone as a reward to yourself. This will motivate you to complete your to-do list for the day. Try going phone-free once or twice a week. Going phone-free means to stay away from phone entirely, no phone calls, no social media for an entire day. If you cannot go entirely phone-free then try to use your phone as little as possible. Try new activities to fill in your time. Delete distracting apps. Seek help from your peers and parents.
Remember you're not gonna get instant success. Start slow but stay consistent.
