Mostly when you complete your graduation from college, you appear for college placement and nowadays, students mostly get jobs from there, but for off campus placement you can find some job online by making strong profile on job sites like LinkedIN and Indeed. If you wish to get into IT sector, make sure you work on your GitHub,codechef and hackerearth profiles . You may also take up a good internship, if you perform great you may get hired there.

There are multiple opportunities for students after btech. If you are skilled in programming, you can get a job as a developer. If you are skilled in photoshop and design areas, you can become a UI/UX designer, editor etc.. If you are from core branches like EEE, CIVIL, MECHANICAL you can get a job relating those fields.

But do remember one thing, it's not about becoming a software engineer or getting a best job. It's about your passion. You can choose a career in management side also, if you are good at team management, public speaking. If you are good at writing, you can become a content writer. And you can become a freelancer where you can be on your own way .

So, please choose your career wisely.

To get a job after BTech, you have two options. You can either apply through on-campus jobs or off-campus jobs. For both, your score should not be less than 60% and consistent throughout till the end. Your resume should be well built. By well built resume, I meant that you should do internships, participate in different workshops and seminars, enroll yourself to learn various courses outside your curriculum. if you fulfill the above needs, then it is not difficult for you to get a job. Make sure you do a personality development test and know where you lack, example confidence, public speaking, management etc. Post different certificates that you get on your LinkedIn profiles. All these are the key points to get a job in good companies.

You can also take guidance from the placement cell of your college to know how can you go about and know about the companies that visit your college for recruitments and internships.
