The eligibility criteria for BE admission at MVJ College of Engineering are:

English was one of the languages required for passing the II PUC/12th standard exam, and candidates also needed to pass with an overall grade of 45% in math and physics, as well as in chemistry, biotechnology, biology, electronics, computer science, and electronics (management admission: 60%). The minimum score required for eligibility is 40% for SC/ST and OBC (Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B category) students from Karnataka.
