The admission procedure for IITs, NITs and IIITs occur through JoSAA. JoSAA is an authority that admits students based on rank list for which JEE Advanced and Mains are the basis. If you are interested in getting into NIT Trichy then JEE Mains Paper II score would be considered and based on the ranks in the rank list, the admission occurs. There is category-wise mark list for all except General category for which Common Rank List (CRL) is considered.
