HI,2019 was the first year when IIIT Kottayam saw its first placement. Institute had good companies coming forward to recruit them. Some of them where NISSAN ,L&T, Reliance(JIO) and many more startups. Good companies like NISSAN offered package starting from 6 Lakh to 10 Lakh. Which is brilliant when seeing the first placement year of Institute. Whereas other new iiits did not saw this type of offers in their first year. So comparing the current scenario one can expect that the placement to be as good as old nits in coming 2–3 years. It is a well deserving institute for candidates securing rank between 5000 to 15000. Coding culture is as par with old iiits like IIIT Allahabad, Gwalior and good nits. More than 70% students clearing starting round of CODE JAM conducted by GOOGLE. Most important point is that no other new iiits have got their permanent campus except few. But IIIT Kottayam have got its campus from 2018–2019 session, again beating other.GOOD LUCK
