The qualifying marks means the minimum marks which the candidate have to score to be eligible to apply for admission under AEEE.The institution does not announce officially the qualifying marks for the AEEE.It only announces the ranks obtained by the candidates.This closing rank is the minimum marks required by the candidate to be eligible to apply for admission at any of three campuses of AEEE.

Actually, the number of participants changes every year ,as the question paper are different every year ,the way if getting the students slots allocate also changes respectively. Hence it is difficult to predict the result with greater accuracy.
For the selection in coimbatore campus, the opening and closing ranks are different for different branches. As in 2018,20k near was the closing rank for Aerospace, civil, chemical and Electronics and telecommunications. And it was near 17k for Electronics and communication and Mechanical engineering and for Computer Science it was nearly 13k.
