Hello,
To be eligible to appear for JEE main a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, chemistry/Biology/Bio-technology or it's equivalent from a recognised board.
However, in order to be eligible to get admission in IITs/NITs/GFTIs a candidate must have passed 10+2 with mathematics, Physics, chemistry/biology/Bio-technology with atleast 75%( candidates belonging to general category) from a recognised board or university.

The minimum percentage required to give JEE mains is 75% in 12 boards exam.but for SC/ST/OBC it is only 65%.
And also if you study and prepare for JEE mains you will easily get 75% marks, so you don't need worry.
