In last years the sectional cutoff has been 80 percentile for all the three sections for the IIMs. However it may vary to some extent in the selection process for old IIMs which depends on their selection policy for that particular year. Anyways try to maximise your score in all sections because that makes your total percentile better. All the best!

Different IIMs have different minimum cut off set for all the three sections. Below I have mentioned the cut off of VARC section for old IIMs for different categories.

IIM A - 75 for general, 65 for OBC, 60 for SC, 50 for ST and 60 for PWD

IIM B - 85 for general, 75 for OBC, 70 for SC, 60 for ST and PWD

IIM C - 80 for general, 75 for OBC, 65 for SC, 60 for ST and PWD

IIM L - 85 for general, 77 for OBC, 55 for SC, 50 for ST and PWD

IIM K - 80 for general, 70 for OBC, 50 for SC, 40 for ST and PWD

IIM I - 80 for general, 70 for OBC, 55 for SC, 45 for ST and PWD
