Hello Afreen,

The dress code for female candidates are as follows:-

  • Clothing with elaborate embroidery, brooches, and buttons must not be worn by female candidates.
  • Light clothes with half-sleeves are the preferred dress code for women candidates.
  • Female aspirants can also wear salwar and trousers.
  • All female aspirants have been directed to wear flat slippers, sandals and low heels.
  • Any kind of ornament, for instance,  earrings, rings, pendants, nose ring, necklace or any kind of metallic item is strictly not allowed inside the exam hall.
  • Frisking at the exam centers will be done through highly sensitive metal detectors thus it is advisable to not carry such items on their person.
  • Candidates following a particular religion have been allowed to wear their customary dress to the examination center. Such candidates are required to report an hour early for the screening process. Candidates must report to the allotted centers latest by 12:30 PM so as to avoid any kind of delay. Officials consider articles of clothing likeBurqa or headscarves, traditional items in Sikhism like kangha kara and kirpan as the customary dress.

Hope it helps you

Hello aspirant,

Neet is very strict about the dresscode these year. For females, you should wear a light colour top with no big button, design, embroidery or metal attached with a loose trouser like salwar or plazzo mo jeans jegging or tight pants allowed and for footwear you have to be careful with wearing open sandals or slippers no shoes or bellies allowed. Be very careful about dresscode, they can debbared students at the time of entrance.
