If you clear NET -LS, you can apply for teaching positions (assistant professor ) in colleges and universities throughout the country. Once you get the job, you will receive a salary of around Rs. 75,000 per month. UGC- NET is merely a certification that makes you eligible for lectureship and research fellowship. This will be based on the institute you join to teach.
