Hello,

There is local/non-local criteria based on which seats are reserved. Admission for 85% seats in each course is reserved for the local candidates and rest remaining 15% of the seats are kept open for other.
But don't worry as more than 40% seats remain vacant in Ap eamcet as most of the top rankers later get NITs, IITs and other top engineering colleges.
