The Government College of Engineering, Kalahandi placement department, is engaged in a number of activities, including summer training, pre-placement training for students, and arranging extracurricular activities. The Government College of Engineering's Kalahandi placement cell enhances the abilities of engineering graduates in order to improve their employability. Using institutional and external expertise, it organises programmes for soft skills and interview preparation. Pre-placement training is provided by the cell to students to ensure that they have adequate knowledge of communication skills, personality development, logical reasoning, group discussion, and personal interviews in order to prepare them for corporate exposure.
