Sikkim University bases admission on an entrance exam that is administered by the institution. The Central Admission Test (CAT) is offered at eight locations for admission to all UG and PG programmes. Candidates must have a certain CUET score in order to get admitted to Sikkim University.

For M.Sc admission student must have B.Sc. degree relevant to the field.
