According to India today  deshabndhu has been ranked 28th among all the top science courses in in India and if you go by DU ranking of the colleges by NAAC then the college has been accredited by B++. 

The college has average infrastructure. But faculty is very much experienced and helpful for the students. 

To encourage self-learning and to satisfy the thirst for knowledge of the students, the College library has a massive collection of books and magazines. The College offers all kinds of possible avenues in the form of various academic & co-curricular activities like debate, sports, photography, music, dramatics, seminars  etc., to help the students in their overall development.

So, the college is good both academically as well as co curricular wise also.
