Admission to the B.Tech M.Des dual degree programme requires successful completion of higher secondary education (10+2) with Physics, Maths, Chemistry from any recognised board or council. For most of the best engineering colleges, a minimum percentage in the qualifying examination is necessary, with a 5 per cent mark waiver for those belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST). English is also required by several universities as one of the qualifying examination subjects.
