Chemical engineers generally work in design, operations or research departments of manufacturing companies as well as in engineering service companies.

Industries where Chemical engg.can work are:

  • Oil and gas
  • Textile
  • Food
  • Consumer Products
  • Agriculture 
  • Pharmaceutical etc...

Chemical Engineers have very good opportunities to work in 5 maharatna companies like iocl, ongc, coal india, GAIL, SAIL OUT OF 7 (REST 2 R NTPC and BHEL).
