The selection criteria for B.Tech at BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology based on eligibility criteria of the course and candidates performance in entrance examination. The candidates must pass 10+2 or equivalent with 30% marks in English and minimum of  45% marks  in any three subjects (Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application/ Technical Vocational). The candidate must qualify West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WB JEE) conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board/ JEE (Main) conducted by NTA.
