Hi Ishika,

For MBBS Candidates admitted to state-run medical colleges will be required to fill up a bond for two years of mandatory service at a government medical facility after completing their study, and defaulters would be fined heavily.

The bond will be worth ten lakh rupees for MBBS students, forty lakh rupees for PG candidates, and one crore rupees for those finishing superspeciality degrees.

Those who do not complete the required two years of service will be responsible for the cost out of pocket.

Hope that helps
