Hello student yes you can sit in placement. IIT mtech placement eligibility criteria
Minimum CPI of 6.0 or 55% of marks in the qualifying degree/diploma as indicated below: Note: (a) All regular category candidates (except those having BTech/BDes degrees from an IIT with a minimum CPI of 7.0) must possess a valid score of all India Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED).

Hello sir I have Year Back In BTech means I m studying BTech 6.5 CPI 5 years due to Backloges the Mtech CSE placements Companies taken or not for me? I want Job in Google any problem with year issue in Mtech CSE placements?
