CLAT paper for PG course consists of two section with questions in a mix of subjective and objective. For the first section of Objective Paper - One needs to have a thorough knowledge of all the subjects at Undergraduate program of Law covering fundamentals of law, constitutional Law and other law subjects comprising of International , Law of Contracts, Law of Torts etc. This paper carries 100 question carrying one mark for each, while there's deduction of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. The second section is subjective, which is to write two descriptive essays.
Only after qualifying objective section, subjective section will be evaluated. In case of General Candidates, qualifying marks is 40%, while it's 35% for SC/ST/PWD in Objective Section.
