According to the recommendations of the first NJPC, civil judge (junior division) got Rs.12,000, district judge (Rs. 21,000) and district judge with (super time scale) got Rs.24,000 According to the second NJPC, a civil judge (junior division) will get a salary of Rs.35,000 According to this revision, the new salary of civil judge (senior division) would be Rs. 45,000 .

However, the allowances and grade pay for PCS J varies as per the location and division.
