Rank card will be proof for that whether the data you have filled regarding to the marks are correct or not and it it mostly used in the time of counselling.

You should have noticed that you have got different types of ranks in your rank rank and every rank is related to different category.

But at the time of counselling they will consider your general rank only and on the basis of that you will get the benefit of your category.
