VITEEE never provides total mark scored by the student in the result. VITEEE result only provides your rank in the exam.
So, mark vs. rank is unpredictable for VITEEE.
It is assumed that a candidate should have to score at least 90 marks to secure a seat in Computer Science & Engineering at VIT Vellore campus under category A.
Below 7000 ranks in VITEEE will fetch you Computer Science & Engineering, under 13000 ranks will land you Electronics and Communication Engineering and under 19000 ranks will fetch you Mechanical Engineering at VIT Vellore campus under category A.

Of the four campuses of VIT University, Vellore and Cennai are the old ones, while Bhopal and Amravati are only recently established. Being new campuses Bhopal and Amravati are low on the priority list of students. Also, among Vellore and Chennai campuses, the former is more in demand as can be seen by the cutoffs. You will most likely need a higher rank for admission at VIT Vellore.

If not, let me tell you, it is the minimum marks required to get admission in the institute and the course, that means, it varies from one B.Tech course to another. The cutoff is usually released in the form of opening and closing ranks and for all category candidates.
