EWS stands for Economic Weaker Section.

It is for those 10% people which are under following categories:-

Whose gross family income is below 1 lakh.

Who does not belong to any reserved category.

Apart from this a candidate can avail only one reservation at a time. If you have chosen ews then you can not avail obc reservation.
