The cut off depends upon various factors such as difficulty level of the examination, total number of candidates appeared for the exam, total number of seats available etc. Thus, the cut off varies each year. Also, the cut offs are different for different category students. AEEE 2018 cut off was

SC/ST Category (Open & State Quota) : 1 – 15000 (opening rank) ; 15001 – 25000(closing rank)

General Category (Open & State Quota) : 1 – 750 (opening rank); 9501 – 10000 (closing rank)

State Quota : 10001 – 12500 (opening rank); 20001 – 22500 (closing rank)

AEEE2017 cut off rank for CSE was

• Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri : 6940 (Open Quota) ; 16547 (state quota)
• Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore : 1813 (Open Quota)  ; 13801 (state quota)
• Amrita School of Engineering Bangalore: 6767 (Open Quota)  ; 10354 (state quota)
