99 percentile means 170 - 180 JEE MAIN score. It's a descent score indeed. Now if you can perform equally in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, you need to score almost 60 in each subject. Scoring 60 out of 100 is not tough. Chemistry in JEE Main is never difficult. Practice a lot of questions including all the mechanisms such as Substitution, E1, E2 as well as the mechanisms of name reactions. According to me chemistry is found to be more easier than other subjects in JEE as questions comes directly from NCERT and some can be solved easily so therefore to score 99+ percentile in chemistry will mean that you have to score about 100 marks or above out of 120, then only you can get good percentile in your chemistry section.
