Hey shivam !

Private colleges require dynamic amount of fees. So , if fee is not an issue , then you can go for these private colleges. But it should not happen  that after the counselling list of CSAB relesses , you realize and rrgret that if you would have participated , then you could get admission there. So it is better to register for CSAB special round and attend both the rounds of counselling and then , if you do not get s seat , go for private universities. The private universities will accept your admissions then also.

To know more about CSAB special round counselling , follow the given link:

See that's a call for you to make buddy. What I can advise you is that csab counselling us open for all category and with your ranking in OBC of 63000, it would be difficult to get a seat there but if you want to try and go for it ,then go for csab counselling.  Amity and arm are nice colleges but fee structure is very expensive too so if going for private colleges, choose according to your financial conditions

Hi Shivam,

You have mentioned your OBC rank to be 63000 if i am not wrong. See at this rank it is very difficult for you to get a seat in the special round of CSAB, atleast in NITs and and IIITs. You might get some GFTI but i think you should go for private institutes like Amity etc. because chances in CSAB are meek.

Good Luck !!

Dear Aspirant

First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance and I feel sorry to inform you that based on your rank in obc category it is very difficult for you to get a seat in government college through jee mains so if you are getting admission in srm or amity then if you were to take my opinion then I would suggest you to take admission in these college. You can also look for special round but there are very less chance that you may grab any seat.

Good luck for your future :)

Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.

Dear student, it won't be beneficial even if you wait for CSAB 2019. So, it would be better if you move on to private colleges. SRM Chennai campus would be the best option if you are able to get there. It is one of the leading institutes in India for engineering, but only the main campus.
