After you successfully complete your 10th standard, then there various streams available from which you can choose to do your 11th and 12th like Science, Commerce, arts/humanities. Based upon the stream you choose and what you would like to pursue your career in, there are different Entrance examinations that you can start preparing for after your 10th standard. For example, if you have chosen Science stream and you would like to become an engineer then some of the various Engineering entrance exams are: JEE MAIN, JEE Advanced, VITEEE, MHT CET, SRMJEEE, KIITEE. If you would like to become a doctor then you can prepare for exams like NEET.

Also after you 10th you can do polytechnic courses duration of 3 years, 2 years and also 1 year in Mechanical, Civil, Chemicals, Computer, Automobile.

Some other options available are:

• ITI courses
• paramedic courses like DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology), DOA(Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant), DOT (Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant).
• short term courses like Tally, DTP, Graphics.

So choose wisely based upon your interest.
