Hello Jitendra,

it is the system to select candiidates for best colleges used by JEE System.

1. from +2 they consider major papers like physics, chemistry, mathematics, a language paper like english and another paper except above 4.

2.if any candidate have taken two language papers, then the paper with higher marks will be considered.

3.apart from PCM, if there is any 5th subject in which the candidate has secures more compared to other then that subject is taken into account.

4. If there is any subject whose total marks is not 100 then that is converted to 100 and then calculated to make aggregate of 500.

So maam, if I give improvement exams in only 4 subject and somehow score above 75%, so am I likely to be ineligible for top 20 percentile cutoff?

You have to give best in every subject so that your top 20% will be increased and have high chance to get admission in IIT. Rather 80% is your Entrance so you have to do best in your entrance too. You can't focus on some subjects only.

Maam, I didn't understand about rest 80%, I mean, if I give improvement exam in all subjects, then 75% above eligibility criteria will be considered ?

Yes it will be considered. What you are saying is also correct but I am saying about getting a 100% sure admission at IIT and IIT admission is very competitive. There are lakhs of students who are qualified in +2 that is the main challenge so preparation should be done according to that. Being a competitor, have to look every aspect to win.

According to NTA, if I give improvements in only a few subjects, so top 20 percentile system will be considered, so it means cutoff can go very high like 85% or 87% in boards, Maam, please suggest me an option, whether I should go for improvement for all subjects, or only for 4 subjects? Like:-Physics: 73Chemistry:58Maths:53English:85Computer science:76Physical Education:88The problem is, I am from ISC board and took Physical Education as an optional subject, I scored pretty well in that, but I wanted to improve only Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and English, not in Computer because I am not good at programming so marks will roam around 75-80, so what's better, giving improvement in all subjects, or only in 4?

I understand what you are saying. If you want to take admission in IIT then do your best in your entrance and score high and for top 20% you have to best in PCM. As you are using Android, you can go for online apps like YouTube there you can search for your tutorials. There are playlist and videos for how to get admission in IIT. More of it you have to be follow a strict schedule for daily revision and practice of problems.
Follow NTA official site for syllabus and do smart study and for concepts use YouTube and repeat it until you get it understand.
