The cut-off marks for BA English major for the SC category differ from university to university and even from one college to another within the same university. Typically, SC category candidates have a slightly lower cut-off compared to the general category, sometimes by 5–10 percentage points or equivalent marks, depending on the reservation policy of that state or institution. For example, if a general category cut-off was 85%, the SC category cut-off could be around 75–78%.
